Explore 500+ Underwater Sculptures with an Ocean Conservation Mission
Cancun’s underwater museum of art was originally established in 2010 with the artworks of many artists under the direction of the British Sculptor: Jason deCaires Taylor. Special PH-neutral marine concrete was used in the creation of all statues. Тhe goal of the art installation is to help restore the disrupted coral reefs and provide extra area for the ocean inhabitants to colonize and thus counteract the devastating climate change effects on marine life. Ocean conservation comes first.
