Where we store and process your personal data
We are an international company with operations around the world. By using our services, you are authorising us to process your information anywhere we or our partners do business.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure server. We have in place a level of security appropriate to the nature of the information stored and the harm that might result from a breach of security.
For our online booking, we use products provided by Checkfront Inc. The Checkfront application is hosted in a URL unique to your business in a segregated database dedicated to your account. Web services are protected with an industry standard 256 Bit SSL encrypted certificate.
The systems are PCI DSS compliant and US/EU Safe Harbor certified, and our PCI-DSS compliance is validated by Trustwave.
Their backups are run multiple times a day, and we have customer data stored in a globally distributed cloud storage infrastructure, so they can’t really specify precisely where the data is stored. All payments made through our websites and our apps are processed by our selected third party payment processing services, such as PayPal. Such payments are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer technology. We do not store any of your credit or debit card details in connection with your payment.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our websites or our apps; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

We may use Google AdWords Remarketing Tag and Facebook Pixel to advertise Koox Diving across the Internet, in particular on the Google Display Network and the Facebook network.
AdWords remarketing and Facebook Pixel will display ads to you based on what parts of the Koox Diving website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your web browser.
This cookie does not in any way identify you or give access to your computer or mobile device.
The cookie is used to indicate to other websites that “This person visited a particular page, so show them ads relating to that page.

Hotjar’s analytics tools give an overview of visitor behavior. Getting actionable data-driven insights within Hotjar does not include revealing who the specific individual is: instead Hotjar shows you how people use your website or app anonymously as a whole.
