All this combined with the white limestone beaches, makes up for the perfect holiday. No wonder that this paradise is also home to many fish species. Depending on the season and the weather conditions you can catch a vast diversity of fish. Here are the fish by season: from March to August: marlin, sailfish, jack mackerel, mahi mahi (dorado fish), bonito, wahoo & peto; from September to February: Pacific sierra, Barracuda, peto.

Near Tulum is the second-largest barrier reef in the world – the Mesoamerican Reef. The guided fishing tour will take you on a fast boat to exactly there – deep in the sea where there would be plenty of fish to catch. Although the best time to come fishing in Tulum might be from March till August when the Caribbean sea is abundant with fish. But even during the rest of the year, our seasoned fishermen have caught great barracuda and sierra. The tour starts from our dive shop in Tulum or Playa del Carmen. To reserve your spot please make sure to book your fishing tour at least 5-7 days in advance. We kindly ask you to send a deposit of 50% via PayPal – preferably 7 days in advance to guarantee your participation in any of the trips.
