The adventure starts at Punta Lobos with an approximately one-hour hike to Puerto Viejo. Along the way, we pass natural viewpoints overlooking the sea lion area and the Pacific coastline.
At Puerto Viejo, we prepare to enter the ocean. The guide brings dry bags to store clothing and shoes during the water portion of the experience.
We enter the sea from Puerto Viejo to meet a local fisherman’s boat. We then travel by boat for approximately two hours along the coast toward Las Palmas before returning toward Punta Lobos.
On the return trip, we approach the sea lion area again. When ocean conditions allow, we enter the water to swim nearby before finishing by swimming back to Punta Lobos beach.
Approximate duration: 4 hours Schedule: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM Includes: snorkeling equipment, water, snack, guide and dry bags What to bring: comfortable hiking shoes, light clothing, swimwear and sun protection Requirement: swimming ability is strongly recommended. Life jackets are available for those who need them.
Important: Minimum Guests and Ocean Conditions
The full expedition with the boat trip requires at least 3 paying guests.
You can book the regular departure as a solo traveler or as two guests. If the minimum has not been reached as the departure approaches, you have two options:
Cover the remaining spaces: pay for the spaces needed to reach the minimum of 3 paying guests and take the full expedition with hiking, the boat trip and the water activity.
Choose an alternative experience: if you prefer not to cover the remaining spaces, we will run hiking and snorkeling at Punta Lobos and refund 50% of your booking value.
For example, a solo traveler can pay for the two remaining spaces if no other guests join. Two guests would only need to cover one additional space.
Ocean conditions: safety comes first. If conditions prevent the boat trip and water activities from operating safely, including waves above approximately 1.4 meters, we will run the hiking experience only and refund 50% of the booking value.
The final decision on the marine portion is based on the day’s conditions and the safety of the group.

Explore Todos Santos, Pescadero and the Pacific Coast
Todos Santos
Todos Santos is a great base for exploring this part of the Baja California Sur Pacific coast. Combine land and sea activities, visit undeveloped beaches and reach Punta Lobos, Puerto Viejo, Las Palmas, Pescadero and Cerritos.
The region brings coastal trails, quiet beaches, surf spots and marine experiences together over relatively short distances.
Punta Lobos
Punta Lobos is one of the area’s distinctive coastal landscapes. Its beach, rock formations, fishing activity and marine life provide a starting point for our expeditions.
Our Punta Lobos Coastal Expedition connects these settings in an experience that begins with a hike and finishes with a return through the ocean.
Puerto Viejo
Puerto Viejo is part of our hiking route from Punta Lobos. After approximately one hour of walking along the coast, we reach the transition from the land portion to the marine portion of the expedition.
Here we store clothing and shoes in dry bags, enter the ocean and meet the boat that continues the experience by sea.
Las Palmas Beach
Las Palmas lies between Puerto Viejo and the San Pedrito area of Pescadero. Its beach, vegetation and open Pacific coastline make it one of the highlights of the boat route on our Punta Lobos Coastal Expedition.
From Puerto Viejo, we travel along this stretch toward Las Palmas before returning to Punta Lobos.
San Pedrito and Pescadero
Pescadero is a small community between Todos Santos and Cerritos, closely connected to local beach life and surfing.
San Pedrito is one of the area’s main surf spots. Together with Las Palmas and Cerritos, it makes Pescadero a useful base for exploring different beaches and surf conditions during your stay in Baja California Sur.
Cerritos Beach
Cerritos is one of the main surf destinations along this coast and the home of our Ola Santa Surf experiences.
We offer beginner and intermediate lessons, private experiences and surfing with professional photography. Sessions are arranged around ocean conditions and tides.
Our expeditions in Todos Santos, Pescadero and Cerritos are designed for small groups. This allows us to adapt to the day’s conditions, offer personal attention and maintain a close connection with the surroundings.
Private departures are also available for selected activities.
Land and Sea Experiences
This region offers different environments within a single day. Coastal hiking, boat trips, snorkeling, surfing and photography are part of our experiences around Todos Santos, Punta Lobos, Pescadero and Cerritos.
Ocean activities always depend on weather, sea conditions and safety.
