This is known as the windy season as winds are consistent, just varying from south to north. During November and up until April the \u201cSeason of the Norths\u201d affects the temperature of the winds as the cold fronts come from Canada and the USA.<\/p>\n<p>These strong northerly winds can get extremely cold, but as soon as they turn south-easterly the temperature begins to rise.
