Cozumel has a small and modern airport with international flights. Another option is to fly to Cancun and take a bus and a ferry ride over. Cozumel is 18 km away from the mainland (45 min ferry ride). From there it\u2019s a one hour bus ride south to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum or north to Cancun.<br \/>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=1ca7rl1VMD9MVCF-ZpzvnbMr5Dt5A1-j9\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<div class=\"default-wrapper\"><div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-sm-12 col-xs-12\">\n<h2>Climate and Conditions on the Sunny Isla Cozumel<\/h2>\n<p>It is blessed with a steady tropical climate all year long with an average temperature of 27 degrees. The clear turquoise waters on the southwestern part of the island are home to the second-largest reef system in the world. You can watch baby sea turtle hatching, enjoy the beach bars and restaurants, see pink flamingos and crocodiles, take part in Carnaval de Cozumel, which is held in February or try one of the outdoor adventures at Cozumel Chankanaab National Park, Mexico Cozumel Park or Parque Arqueologico. You can visit the history museum or the\u00a0 planetarium.
